Terms & Conditions
1. Service Agreement
By booking with Sons of Suds Auto Detailing (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following terms. These ensure fairness, clear communication, and high-quality service for every client.
2. Appointments & Deposits

Some appointments require a deposit to secure your time slot.

Deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied to a rescheduled appointment if at least 48-hour notice is given.

Cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours of your appointment will result in deposit forfeiture.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans can change. To maintain efficiency and fairness:

Please notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment to reschedule.

Short-notice cancellations (under 48 hours) may result in a cancellation fee up to the deposit amount.

Frequent rescheduling or last-minute cancellations may require prepayment for future appointments.
4. Vehicle Condition & Expectations

All services are performed to a professional standard relative to the condition of your vehicle.

Heavily soiled interiors, pet hair, mold, or other contamination may require additional services or time-based pricing.

Sons of Suds cannot guarantee the removal of all stains, odors, scratches, or defects — though we always aim for the best possible outcome.

Before and after photos may be taken for documentation, training, and marketing purposes.
5. Liability Disclaimer
Sons of Suds Auto Detailing takes every precaution to ensure your vehicle is treated with care. However, by authorizing service, you acknowledge and agree that:

Pre-Existing Damage: We are not responsible for pre-existing defects or damage (e.g., scratches, rock chips, rust, clear coat failure) that may become more visible after cleaning or polishing.

Fragile Materials: We are not liable for damage to aged, brittle, or previously compromised components such as plastics, rubber seals, or trim.

Personal Belongings: Please remove all valuables and personal items prior to service. Sons of Suds is not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.

Mechanical & Electrical Issues: We are not responsible for electrical or mechanical issues that occur during or after service, including those caused by pre-existing wear, exposed wiring, or failing seals.

Water Intrusion: Vehicles with worn seals or leaks may experience water entry during normal washing; we are not liable for such occurrences.

Third-Party Work: We are not liable for prior detailing, paint correction, or coating work performed by other companies.
6. Engine Bay Detailing Disclaimer
Engine bay cleaning is offered as a cosmetic enhancement service. We take precautions to avoid oversaturation or electrical exposure, but by authorizing this service, you acknowledge and accept the following:

Engine bay cleaning carries inherent risk to electrical or mechanical components, especially on older or modified vehicles.

Sons of Suds is not responsible for malfunctions, sensor issues, warning lights, or electrical failures resulting from pre-existing wear or exposed wiring.

Cleaning is performed using low-pressure rinsing, safe degreasers, and controlled drying methods.
-
This service is performed at the vehicle owner’s discretion and risk.
7. Customer Responsibility
To ensure the best possible outcome, we ask that all clients follow these guidelines:

Vehicle Preparation: Remove all valuables, car seats, personal items, and sensitive materials before drop-off.

Disclose Issues: Notify us of any known electrical problems, leaks, alarms, or aftermarket components prior to service.

Access & Timing: Ensure keys and full vehicle access are available at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in reduced service time or rescheduling.

Post-Ceramic Care: After ceramic coating installation, avoid washing the vehicle for at least 14 days to allow proper curing.

Maintenance: Follow provided aftercare instructions to maintain coating warranties and service results.

Weather Conditions: Mobile appointments may be rescheduled due to rain, extreme temperatures, or unsafe working conditions.
Failure to follow these guidelines may affect service results and warranty coverage.
8. Service Limitations
While Sons of Suds Auto Detailing strives for the highest possible quality, certain results cannot be guaranteed due to the condition, age, and prior treatment of each vehicle. By booking service, you acknowledge and agree to the following limitations:

Paint Correction: We will remove as many imperfections as safely possible; however, some deep scratches, etching, or oxidation may remain if further correction would risk clear coat damage.

Interior Detailing: Stains, odors, or discoloration embedded deep in fabrics or foam padding may not be fully removable, even after extraction or steam cleaning.

Odor Removal: We cannot guarantee permanent odor removal from smoke, mildew, or biological sources, though we will significantly improve the condition whenever possible.

Water Damage & Mold: Vehicles with prior water intrusion or mold contamination may require professional remediation beyond detailing services.

Aftermarket or Sensitive Materials: Sons of Suds is not responsible for issues arising from prior non-OEM wraps, tints, adhesives, or previous detailing products applied by others.

Environmental Conditions: Mobile services may be impacted by weather, temperature, or location conditions. Some services (such as coatings or correction) may require rescheduling for optimal results.
Our commitment is to provide the safest and most effective results within these professional limits.
9. Warranty

Ceramic coatings include a manufacturer-backed product warranty when installed and maintained as instructed.

Sons of Suds guarantees workmanship quality for 30 days following service completion.

Warranty excludes environmental fallout, improper aftercare, neglect, or third-party interference.
10. Payment

Full payment is due upon service completion unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

We accept major payment methods and provide digital receipts.
-
Unpaid balances may result in delayed vehicle release or collection action if necessary.
11. Photo & Marketing Consent
Sons of Suds may photograph and record vehicles before, during, and after services for documentation, training, and marketing purposes. Images will never include personal identification such as license plates or faces unless specifically approved. By receiving service, you consent to this use.
12. Force Majeure
Sons of Suds shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, power outages, illness, or supply chain disruptions.
13. Limitation of Liability
While Sons of Suds Auto Detailing takes every precaution to prevent damage and treat each vehicle with the utmost care, some risk is inherent in any detailing service. In the unlikely event that damage occurs as a direct result of our negligence, our liability shall be limited to the reasonable cost of repair or the total amount paid for the specific service performed, whichever is less.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to diminished vehicle value, loss of use, or third-party costs beyond the scope of the detailing service provided.
14. Policy Updates
Sons of Suds reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
